Share the Love – Letters, Children’s Art or Cards

To help keep our wonderful community connected, we are appealing to people in our neighbourhood to draw cheery messages, write letters or cards with general information to distribute amongst our clients. We ask you to not seal the envelopes as we need to check the content for appropriateness prior to distributing to clients.

Handwritten or hand drawn correspondence has a charm all of its own…and it’s also old school! Take time to think about what you would like to share with our seniors that will be sure to bring them a smile and instill a sense of belonging. The recipients can keep these items to look at again and again or even display the pictures around their living rooms to remind them that they’re connected.

Engaging like this with your community in a meaningful way, will be extremely appreciated by our clients who are isolating. We will take pictures of those who receive these messages to share their love and support with you via social media in the coming weeks.

Now more than ever we need to help each other! Thanks in advance from the team at Melville Cares!

Please deliver these items to our post box PO Box 266 MELVILLE WA 6956, or leave in the donation box outside of our main office @ June Barton House on the corner of Adrian and Hammad Street Palmyra or scan and send to info@melvillecares.org.au

**Please note our offices will be closed from Thursday 9th April 4:30pm and will be open again from 8:30am on Tuesday 14th April.
