The board of Melville Cares has announced the appointment of Maria Davison as the new CEO of Melville Cares following the semi-retirement of Ian Carter.
Maria is recognised as a leader in the community aged care sector having held executive roles at Mercy Care, Amana Living and as CEO of Alzheimer’s WA, as well as being an industry representative on a number of peak bodies.
Ian will officially step down as CEO on Wednesday 30 June 2021 and Maria will take up the role from 1 July 2021.
The board would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Ian in his time as CEO at Melville Cares. Ian has provided his significant skills and experience to implement a range of governance and operational initiatives whilst being a passionate supporter of enhancing the client experience.
