Assistive technology and home modifications

This service may include wheelchairs or mobility devices, rails, ramps, stairlifts, home hub automation technology, alarms and monitoring equipment.

Starting with an occupational therapy assessment, our team will conduct research for you and create tailored recommendations to ensure that your home is accessible and safe, so that you can maintain your independence. They can then assist in sourcing and ensuring equipment is installed appropriately.  

People assessed as eligible for the assistive technology and home modifications scheme can access these wraparound services without having a Support at Home budget.
